Day 2 From Cubes in perspective.... TO a city scape!
It is true that every city has a perspective. This week, Art 1 will be using One point perspective to create their city and Art 2 students will be using Two point perspective.
***It is important to note that these are ALL great examples of One Point Perspective, they might not meet all rubric requirements!!
What is Perspective?
The History behind perspective.
The Renaissance was a time of re-birth and exploration into math and science. One great thing to come out of the Renaissance was the development of linear perspective. Below are two well known art history examples and their "lines" of perspective drawn on them.
Raphael, School of Athens, 1511
Da Vinci, Last Supper, 1498
